捉鬼被鬼捉

解放前，我们家乡有一种迷信行业叫端公，也就是跳神。
那时哪家有人病了，就请端公来跳神捉鬼。
我小时候，最喜欢看跳神。

端公在墙上挂着一些稀奇古怪的神像，点燃香烛，敲着鼓和小锣，口里唱的不知是什么东西。
然后穿上法衣，手执令牌，画符驱鬼。

记得老爷子又讲了一个鬼捉鬼的故事，有一天晚上，端公驱鬼回家，大概三更时分（端公做法事都是晚上），他知道人肩上有两盏灯，灯亮着鬼不敢近身，但不能回头，一回头灯就熄灭。
因此，他直往前走，口里还唱着川戏壮胆。
谁知不小心，脚踢了一个石头，身子往前一仆，翻了一个跟斗。
心想这下完了，肩上的灯一定熄了，他回头一看，只见两个巨鬼，张牙舞爪地对他说：你平时总装神弄鬼地与我们作对，骗人们的钱，今天你也跟我们去阴曹地府走一遭，嚐一嚐被捉的味道。
端公连忙跪在地上，叩头如冲蒜般地告饶说：鬼爷爷！鬼大人！绕了我吧！可怜我上有老，下有小，我今后决定洗手不干了，我骗来的钱都奉送给你们。
两巨鬼说：好！说话算话，以后再搞绝不轻饶。
收下钱，两鬼扬长而去。

常说：钱能通神，其实钱也能通鬼呀！……
