小的时候，最开心的就是听我家的二大爷拉呱讲鬼故事，听了他讲得鬼故事后，我们几个伙伴晚上连门也不敢出，早早的钻进被窝里。
可是到了第二天，又不知不觉的来到二大爷晒太阳的地方，死磨硬缠的不让二大爷拿虱子，非要讲故事不可。
二大爷给我们讲得故事可真的不少了，但只有《背金》这个故事一直影响到我现在。

相传，有一个叫万守财的大地主，长得是尖嘴猴腮，瘦骨嶙峋的样子，老百姓说他是老动脑子使坏注意的缘故，身体才没有发福。
他虽然家产万贯，良田千顷豪富一方，但仍然做着拼命敛财，强抢豪夺，欺男霸女的勾当，可苦了当地老百姓。

村里有个苦娃叫乞儿，今年不幸父母先后去世，好歹还留下了一个遮风挡雨的土坯房子。
乞儿看着徒空的四壁，只有以泪相伴。
哎，穷人的孩子早当家。
为了生存，唯一的办法就是到大财主家租些粮食种子来种庄稼，以度生计。

万守财见到乞儿前来租高粮种子，心里乐哈哈的，他早就垂涎乞儿的那所房子，便心生一计，拨弄着手中的算盘说道：“乞儿，你也知道租粮食的规矩，租一斗还三斗。
今年你家出了这此些不幸的事情，我也知道你难。
”万守财开始装起了慈悲，“要不这么着吧，我给你一斗高粱你来年还我一斗就行。
但是我还有一个要求，那就是以你那破房子作抵押，你看怎么样？”

乞儿想来想去，也没有别的法子，要是没有种子那不得饿死呀，到时候什么也得不到，就索性就答应了万守财的要求。
“行，我就要租一斗的高粱种子。
”

万守财让乞先回去，明天前来取高粱种子。
到了晚上，万守财就让老婆取来一斗高粱，放在锅里用火炒。
老婆一个劲得夸自己的老头子聪明，万守财脸上也露出了阴险的笑容。

到了第二天，不知是计的乞儿在合约上按了手印，领走了那被炒熟了的高粱种子，种在了自己的院子里。
乞儿天天守护旁边，期盼高梁早点发芽，长出庄稼。
日子一天天过去了，只有从地里长出一棵小高粱苗外，就再也没有窜芽的了。
乞儿在地里用手扒着，发现所有的种子都已经烂掉了。
乞儿趴在地上大哭起来，他也不知道那棵发了芽的高粱，还是万守财的老婆在炒得时候不小心蹦到锅台上的呢。

不管怎样，有一棵小苗那也是希望，乞儿不管是白天还晚上小心翼翼的看护着它，不断的给它施肥、浇水，除草拿虫子，这棵高粱长得粗壮喜人，还结了一个大大的高粱穗子。

这一天，乞儿还像往常一样守护着高粱，怕被麻雀给啄食了。
这时，从空中飞来一只老鹰，向着高粱俯冲下来。
乞儿连忙驱赶，但是已经晚了，老鹰叼着那大高粱穗就向着太阳的方向飞走了。

乞儿就拼命的去追，也不知道翻过了多少座山，趟过了多少条河，老鹰终于落在了一座高高的山顶上。
它见乞儿爬到了山顶就说：“为了这棵高粱值得这样不要命吗？”乞儿就把种高粱前因后果一一道来：“那没有良心的大财主，为了得到我家的那座房子，把租给我的高粱全用锅给炒熟了，好让我还不起粮租，想侵占我的房子，好歹就长了这么一棵，还被你给叨走了，你说我能不急吗？”

老鹰一听是这么一回事，就说道：“这么着吧，你顺着这条路往里走，一直走到太阳升起的地方，那儿有许多金子，你要赶到太阳升起之前，拿些速速下山，要不然就会被太阳烤死的。
”乞儿记住了老鹰的话，果真找了许多金子，乞儿抓起两把金粒子就急忙的回来了。
回到家后，乞儿不仅接济了老百姓，还翻盖了房子，还清了粮租。

万守财非常的纳闷，乞儿一不会偷，二不会抢的到底上那弄来了这么多的金子？他亲自上门拜访，乞儿心想，要不是你当初的所作所为我也到了不了这一天，就干脆把事情的来龙去脉说了一遍。
万守财听完后，如获至宝，高高兴兴地回家了。

过了年到了种庄稼的季节，万守财就让老婆就像给乞儿炒高粱一样，故意把一棵种子掉在锅台上。
当他发现真的从地里长出一棵高粱苗的时候，他是大喜过望，什么也不做了，专心的守护着小苗。
他也不断给它施肥、浇水，除草拿虫子，这棵高粱也长得粗壮喜人，结出了一个大大的高粱穗子。

这一天，那只老鹰又出现在了天空，它发现那棵高粱后就冲了下来，叨走了那棵大穗子。
万守财在后面是拼命的追赶。

他心里还想：乞儿那傻小子，来一回不多带点回去，真的好笨。

没有多久，他果真找到了金子，他拼命往袋子里装，不多时就装满了，浑身的布袋也塞得满满的，眼看太阳快要升起来了，还是不舍得满地的金子，想统统的给带走。
当他感觉到越来越热时，想背起金子却怎么也背不动，不多时身上的衣服就冒烟了，如果他现在丢掉袋子还来的急，可是他不，背不动他就拖，可是没多久他就被活活的烤死了。

这个故事虽然过了好多年，但它依然在我的耳边记忆犹新，就像二大爷叮嘱一样，伴我一生。
