鬼火

六月的一天，天气酷热，大山里的树木像得了病似的，叶子挂在树枝上打着卷；枝条一动也懒得动，无精打采地低垂着。
地上绿草被烤焦了，那块黄土地也被晒得滚烫滚烫的，几只褐色的大肚蟋蟀，在山里或者路边上疯狂地叫着。
小林和王娃子两个小伙伴穿着裤衩光着脚丫和王娃子的爸爸老王一起来到大山里的一个大水库边上。
老王去割牛草去了，小林和王娃子在水库边上玩耍。
小林一不小心掉进水里淹死了。
后来小林就葬在邻居刘大兵家对面的坡上。

小林死后一个礼拜的一个晚上，刘大兵睡到半夜被尿憋醒了，就起来打开大门撒尿。
他突然看到对面坡上有人在烧火，他以为是烧炭的人在那里烧炭，所以没有注意，撒完尿就回去睡去了。
刘大兵一连好几个晚上都起来撒尿，奇怪地是对面山上那火一直没有灭。
第二天他特意走到山上去寻找那火源。
可走到那里，除了小林的坟地之外没有其它可疑的东西，也没有见到烧过火的迹象，记得是这里啊！怎么又没有火源呢？这时候，刘大兵心里开始害怕了。
他不知道那火是怎么回事，难道是鬼火？于是刘大兵急匆匆地往回跑。
回到家对老婆说：“我到对面山上看过了，什么也没有，那鬼火可能是小林的阴魂不散啊！”妻子听后吓得全身发抖！刘大兵在晚上时再也不敢出来撒尿了。

第二天，他把这事告诉了小林的爸妈，小林的爸妈当然不相信了，后来有几个走夜路的人也看到了鬼火。
刘大兵对妻子说：“那鬼火正好对着自己的家仙，很不吉利，咱请个巫婆把它赶走吧！”妻子当然是满口答应了。
第二天，刘大兵就请了一个巫婆到算算到底是乍回事。
巫婆掐指一算，说那山上到了晚上很多鬼都围着一堆火前唱歌跳舞，冤死的就在那里哭，说得格外令人害怕。
刘大兵就问：“可以把鬼赶走吗？因为对着自己家的家仙，闹鬼不吉利啊！”

巫婆说：“可以的，但是那些鬼要收红包。
”

只要能赶走鬼魂再多几个红包也无所谓。
于是刘大兵按照巫婆说的去买了一只大猪头，买了些香火之类的东西，又封了几个红包，巫婆虽然说是把钱给那些鬼魂，但却装进了自己的口袋。
那个晚上他们两口子似乎睡得安宁了。
可后来那鬼火又出现了，他也没辙了，是不是巫婆的法力不高啊！他想重新找个法力高的巫婆，镇押这些孤魂野鬼。

有一天，小林家来了两个警察，向小林的爸妈问起小林生前的事。
小林的爸爸给警察倒了一杯开水，说：“儿子生前和村里的一个小孩王娃子很要好，可以说是形影不离，他死的那天就是和王娃子在一起。
”大概聊了一支烟的功夫，警察走了。
警察回过身来，又来到王娃子家里。
王娃子正和老王正在下军期，老王见警察来了吓了一大跳。

警察说：“听说小林和王娃子生前很要好，是吗？”

老王说：“那是以前的事了，现在人都死了，还提他干吗！”

“听说小林死的那天你也在现场是吗？”

老王很紧张，连连否认：“我不在场！我不在！谁说我在？”

警察说：“不在就不在，你这么紧张干吗？我们又不是在审问你。
”

警察问王娃子：“小林哥哥死了你心里难过吗？”

“小林是我最好的伙伴，他死了我很难过！”王娃子噙着泪说。

“那天他是乍死的你还记得吗？”警察问王娃子。

“记得，他是为了救我才被淹死的。

警察继续问：“他是乍救你才被淹死的？”

老王在一旁急了，对儿子说：“王娃子你别乱说啊！去给你老爸买包烟去，别在这里瞎搅和。
”然后对警察说:“我家儿子不懂事，二位大爷莫见笑，莫见笑啊！”

警察严肃地说：“老王同志，希望你让你儿子说下去。
”

老王已经无话可说了。

警察笑着对王娃子说：“小朋友，有警察叔叔在这里，不要怕，你说下去。
”

王娃子望了望他老爸，又望了望警察，最后还是说了：“那天我看见水库边上有只鱼，就去抓，可我不小心掉进水里去了。
后来我爸爸和小林哥哥看见了，小林哥哥便跳进水里把我救了，但是他自己却被淹死了。
”说完就放声大哭。

“那天如果我爸爸也去救小林哥哥的话，他就不会死。
”王娃子说。

完了！想瞒也瞒不住了。
老王低着头，只好把事情的经过一五一十地说了出来。

原来那天小林和王娃子跑到水库边上玩，老王害怕他们掉进水里，也跟了过去，就在不远的地方割牛草。
不一会，突然听到小林在叫：“王娃子掉进水里去了，快救人啊！”

老王急急忙忙地跑了过来，慌手慌脚地把鞋子衣服脱了，准备下水。
这时，小林衣服也没有脱就跳了下去把王娃子救起，往岸边游来。
游到了岸边，老王伸手抓住了王娃子的手，把他拉上了岸。

王娃子上岸后对老王说：“爸爸，你快去救小林哥哥上来，他不会游泳！”

老王不慌不忙地说：“急啥？先把你的衣服脱下来晒一晒。
”

小林已经筋疲力尽了，他渴望有一只手把他拉上去，但是老王没有及时的去救他。
等老王把自己的儿子料理好后回过头时，发现小林不见了。
老王想，这下可完了，他可能沉下去了。
小林真的沉下去了，和王娃子永别了，和自己的爸妈永别了，和这个还没来得及体会幸福的世界永别了！

王娃子看见小林没有上岸，于是就问：“爸爸，小林哥哥呢？”

“他可能被淹死了，走，我们回家去。
”老王说。

王娃子听后嚎啕大哭起来。
老王一手捂着王娃子的嘴巴：“你别叫！如果别人问起小林的事，你当作什么都不晓得，千万别说！知道吗？如果你说了出去，老子不扒了你的皮！”王娃子害怕地点了点头。

过了几天，有人到水库边上割草，发现小林的漂在水上面。
小林确实被淹死了。
小林死后，小林的爸妈也到问过王娃子，但老王把事情的真相隐瞒得很紧，小林的爸妈问不出所以然，也就不问了。
俗话说：人心都是肉长的。
何况小林又是自己儿子的铁哥们，对于他的死，自己过不了良心的那道砍。
在小林的尸体下葬后，他每天晚上等乡亲们都睡熟了以后，自己拿着一个铁脸盆和一袋子纸钱，来到小林的坟前把纸钱烧在铁脸盆里，以此求得小林的原谅。

这就是乡亲们看到“鬼火”的真相。

故事该收场了，但是老王却下跪在警察跟前深深地忏悔：警官，我对不住小林啊……
